COGNITIVE BEHAVIOURAL THERAPY APPROACH
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy in short, evaluates thoughts, emotions and behaviours and looks for destructive thought and behaviour patterns. These patterns are then adjusted to improve mood and well-being. CBT is as effective as medication, and in many cases is more effective as medication alone does not target thoughts and behaviours. CBT is an extensively researched psychotherapy and is arguably the most beneficial form of treatment for mental health conditions.
