WHAT IS CBT?
CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In short, CBT evaluates thoughts, emotions and behaviours and looks for unhelpful thought and behaviour patterns. These patterns are then adjusted into more helpful ones.

WHAT IS THE FIRST SESSION LIKE?
The first session is usually an information gathering session. You may be required to complete 1 or 2 short form regarding your current health situation before we meet. These forms help to gather more information about what you might be experiencing and how the therapeutic process can help. Any questions you have about therapy will be answered. Therapy with me is completely transparent and collaborative.
WHAT ARE THE FEES?
Fees are $800 HKD per 50 minute session. Duration of therapy is different for everyone. While it is usual for a course of therapy to be around 12-15 sessions, some individuals benefit from as little as 3-4 sessions. Others may be seen on a regular basis. You can choose to pay per session or pay for a bulk of sessions. Everything is openly discussed with you. I accept cryptocurrency as payment to the current equivalent value of HKD. Currently I accept BTC, ETH, USDC, USDT & SHIB.

CBT is an action evidence-based therapy. CBT involves proactively working through your thoughts and behaviours, which gives you the confidence to improve your emotional experiences. This is why CBT is favoured over medication by clinical psychologists. As is often the case with medication, once stopping, symptoms rebound as internal constructs are unchanged. CBT skills are lifelong.
