FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

WHAT IS CBT?

CBT stands for Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. In short, CBT evaluates thoughts, emotions and behaviours and looks for unhelpful patterns. These patterns are then adjusted into helpful ones.

DO YOU DO ONLINE SESSIONS?

Yes, I do. As I work globally, and due to the current global pandemic, I see clients online through Zoom or Skype. And face to face, of course taking into account appropriate hygiene measures.

CAN I BOOK AN INTAKE SESSION?

Yes, of course. The first session is usually an information gathering session. You may be required to complete 1 or 2 short forms regarding your current health. These forms are used to help gather more information about what you might be experiencing and how the therapeutic process can help. Any questions you have will be answered. Therapy with me is completely transparent.

WHAT ARE YOUR FEES?

Fees are $800 HKD per 60 minute session. Duration of therapy is different for everyone. While it is usual for a course of therapy to be around 12-15 sessions, some individuals benefit from as little as 3-4 sessions. Others I see on a regular basis. You can choose to pay per session or pay for a bulk of sessions. Everything is openly discussed with you. I additionally accept cryptocurrency as payment to the equivalent value of HKD. Currently I accept BTC, ETH, BNB, ADA, USDT & USDC.
